About Me

TL;DR

I'm Allison, a frontend developer focused on detail, usability, and accessibility. I build hand-crafted experiences with TypeScript, React, and Tailwind, and I aim to deliver products that feel polished, usable, and cared for.

For the past three years I've worked at a consulting company, developing large-scale projects like Kit Digital UC, the design system used by 100+ sites at Universidad Católica. That work strengthened my frontend skills and product vision. Now I'm looking for more ownership: not just coding, but having a voice in decisions and being part of a team that builds with purpose.

I'm interested in creating well-thought-out products where clarity, accessibility, and open communication are priorities. I closely follow the local-first movement and the growth of the web as a platform for fast, resilient, user-centered experiences. Outside of work, I collaborate with indies.cl, where I'm an active member and volunteer in the community. I also learn Norwegian, play chess, and explore music; I enjoy connecting with curious people who want to build.

Agenda UC

I designed and developed Agenda UC, a centralized system for academic and cultural events, built with a flexible Strapi API and an accessible React/Next.js frontend.

UC Digital Kit

I developed and optimized the UC Digital Kit, a Vanilla JavaScript library that ensures accessibility, consistency, and performance across more than 100 institutional websites.

UC Portal

I improved and maintained UC Portal, the university’s main digital access point, by integrating new sections, optimizing performance, and enhancing accessibility.

USS Digital Kit

I contributed to the development of the USS Digital Kit, two component libraries (Vanilla JS and React) that are accessible, modular, and translate the institutional design system into reusable code.
